The Original Rolf Method of Structural Integration was developed by the late Dr. Ida P. Rolf. She was a biochemist who studied osteopathy, homeopathy, yoga, movement, and the Alexander technique. She was the founder of Structural Integration, and formed the original "Guild" for practitioners who had studied
with her. (These included Emmett Hutchins and Peter Melchior, my own teacher. These original teachers continue to teach at the Guild for Structural Integration (G.S.I.), which is dedicated to preserve her work, the Original Rolf Method of Structural Integration.)
